Human Factors Engineer

Manisha is a Human Factors Engineer involved in a variety of projects, mostly medical device development. Through user-centric design and testing, she seeks to ensure safety and efficacy, thus improving the quality of life of patients, clinicians, caregivers and the communities that use these products.

Manisha has a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in psychology from Drexel University. Prior to joining LHF, she worked for 4 years in Systems Engineering and Human Factors in medical devices. Manisha lives in Boston, MA. Her background with product expertise includes trauma surgical solutions (e.g., plates, screws, IM rods, external fixation), spinal surgery devices (localized delivery of antibiotics in vivo), skeletal health diagnostics (ex. mini C-arm and DXA) and minimally invasive breast surgery devices.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, ceramics, traveling and volunteering with FIRST Robotics Competition and FIRST Global.
